Great Experience but for the locals having to pay full price to do the corn maz it's not fair to ask them to pay for the whole entire fort at regular price during the day and have a different price at night for the maze . we been there for school trips and have been there on our own ! People who cannot prove that they're not a local should have to pay full price and get the full experience .
Our Scout Troop had the rare pleasure of being able to spend a memorable overnight stay at the Fort. We were thrust into the life of a soldier in 1775. Our guide brought us thru an interesting tour through wooded trails around the fort...Our Troop had the very rare opportunity to lower the Flag at Sunset and raise the Flag on 9/11... One of the best places to visit for Am. Rev. And French & Indian War Enthusiasts!
I believe the fort is beautifully well done and the historic information is outstanding. However I do wish your book selection was a little bit bigger. I wish more books could be sold about the French and Indian War and also the Revolutionary War. Also the live animals and garden was perfect. One of my favorite forts and thats why I always donate hundreds of dollars every year
Such a fantastic place. Was not planning to stop here, but glad I did. The great living history actors make the place come alive. The trip up Mount Defiance was a nice bonus as well as the wonderful garden full of flowers. Will definitely return one day.
